In Action

At Glen Allen Elementary, we incorporate our core values into a unified house system that helps students, staff, and families develop a deep sense of belonging. All students and staff are inducted into one of our five houses. Our children are recognized daily for their positive contributions to the school through the receipt of House Points, which are reflected through teacher and peer recognition, and displayed on various digital outlets around the school. Each house engages in a friendly, year-long competition known as the House Championship. In addition, students are provided with opportunities to engage in unity as a school family to encourage each other and benefit our supportive community. Daily, we work to incorporate our mission statement "5 Houses, 1 Community - Empowering EVERY Voice" into the diverse educational experiences that our students take part in.
